Mawra Hocane was first a stage artist. Her experience as a theater artist did not last long and prompted her to enter the entertainment industry. Mawra later started working as a VJ at ARY Musik, a Pakistani Urdu-English music broadcaster founded in 2003. Mawra Hocane completed her early education at Bahria College in Islamabad and graduated from FSC (Pre-Medical Science). To continue his studies, Mawra entered Islamabad Law Institute.
